Hunter reports the deliberate running over of twenty wild boar in an agricultural field

The alleged perpetrator of this atrocious act recorded a video boasting about the slaughter. An agricultural machine ran over the wild boar during the harvest.

Philippe Lavit, known in hunting circles as Feliew, has posted these stark images on his Facebook page and YouTube channel. The hunter is one of the most popular hunting content creators in France and internationally, with more than 160,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.

On his personal Facebook blog, he shares a compilation of his “best hunting videos filmed with a camera mounted on his head: wild boar hunts in the Vosges Mountains, small game hunting, duck hunting and hunts during trips”.

Wild boar run over during the harvest

The hunter reports that this reprehensible act was committed between the French departments of Vosges and Haute-Marne, located in the northeast of the country in the Grand Est region. The action has caused outrage among the French rural community.

For the time being, the identity of the person who committed this act is unknown. In statements to a local hunting media outlet, Feliew says that “if these acts are proven and those responsible are identified, the law should be applied with the same rigour to anyone who intentionally harms wildlife”.
