The owner calls his dog. He knows that the wild boar is a dangerous animal that can seriously injure his canine companion. But this small terrier’s hunting and protective instinct leads it to ignore the orders and continue making its approaches at full speed, barking at the pig.
In the background of the image we see several piglets, this sow’s young, which multiplies the risk posed by the situation. A female caring for her young will attack any animal she considers a potential danger to them. We have seen it on numerous occasions and we see it again in this recording.
At first, the sow withdraws, going over to her piglets, but a new charge by the small terrier changes everything and leads the female wild boar to defend herself by attacking.
