A pony is stolen in Sanlúcar de Barrameda and a reward of 50,000 euros is offered to anyone who returns him home

Ciuciu is a 20-year-old male of the Falabella breed. An equine breed created in Argentina that owes its name to Julio César Falabella. His family has run the main breeding centre for this type of pony since the 19th century.

It is the result of crossing several pony breeds, including the Shetland, Creole breeds and Thoroughbred. It has an average height of 75 centimetres and an average weight of 75 kilograms. The stolen specimen is white and grey-coated, is 50 centimetres tall and weighs 60 kilograms.

A pony that has taken part in equine displays all over the world

On the night of June 25, the stallion was taken from the Maestre estate in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, where he has always lived. According to Blanka Satora, his owner, “he is not just a pony. He is a beloved member of the family, an artist and a friend loved by thousands of people all over the world. A reward of 50,000 euros is being offered for information leading to his safe return.”

The veterinarian says on Instagram that “it was not a random theft; out of 45 horses, they came for him.” The horsewoman is asking for public help to recover the small pony: “Any information, however small it may seem, could be of great help.”
